The Candidate understands that the J1 Visa Program is not a work or employment program but a cultural exchange program which enhances the participant’s knowledge of American culture and provides on-the-job immersion to American Management techniques in their field of expertise and an opportunity to travel all over the U.S.
Candidate and USE Global Inc. agree as follows:
ARTICLE 1. SERVICES
Provider’s Services. The Service Provider will:
- Determine the Candidate’s eligibility for the J-1 Program according to the U.S. Department of State’s current regulations.
- Evaluate the Candidate’s English level (with an English assessment interview).
- Arrange and prepare the Candidate for interviews with potential Host Camps.
- Issue all documents required for the program
- Provide the Placement for the Candidate in the U.S. The Placement includes – job offer and accommodation.
- Prepare the Candidate regarding their interview at the U.S. Embassy / U.S. Consulate. Please note that USE Global, Inc can advise you on consular interviews. But we are not obliged to provide information on the account of the necessary documents and rules when filing an application for a visa, since in each country these regulations are different. For more information, please, contact to U.S. Embassy / U.S. Consulate in your country.
- Send the Candidate his/her medical insurance for the duration of the DS-2019. Assist the Candidate upon arrival by providing a pre-arrival orientation package and interview with information regarding housing, Social Security, bank account, etc.
ARTICLE 2. CANDIDATE’S OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate’s Obligations. The Candidate agrees:
- To have passed all academic requirement and/or to have required work experiences and to be able to provide all supportive documents for education and work experience stated on the resume.
- To attend all Skype (or other online) interviews at the prearranged time organized by the Service Provider. If the Candidate will not attend at the English language proficiency interview 3 times without any warnings, his/her participation in the program will be terminated and no amount will be refunded. The Candidate can change the time of the interview no more than 2 times
- To accept the position that was offered to him/her by the Host Camp after a successful interview. Declining of the offer and the position after a successful interview will be subject to an administrative fee.
- To provide all necessary/requested documentation in a timely manner.
- To submit payment of the program fees in a timely manner (The due date will be indicated on an invoice).
- To secure his/her housing before arrival in the United States unless provided by the Camp for the duration of the intern/trainee’s stay in the USA.
- To observe and respect laws and regulations of the USA as well as the Host Camp’s internal regulations.
- To perform his/her duties during his/her training period at a high standard and with all due skills, care, and attention regarding the level of the knowledge, experience, or education the Candidate has represented to USE Global he or she possesses.
- The Provider will not be responsible for a visa refusal to Candidate’s application in the Embassy of United States of America.
- If the Candidate does not register for SEVIS and does not get a Social Security Number, within 30 (thirty) calendar days after arriving in the United States of America, his/her participation in Program will be cancelled, in this case the Provider will not be responsible for them.
- The Provider does not bear any responsibility for the employer changing the conditions specified in the US employment agreement for the Candidate. In this case, the Candidate should contact the Sponsor.
- The position of the Candidate will be determined after the training in workplace in the USA. In this case the Provider will not be responsible for the position of the Candidate.
- The Candidate is able to communicate with employer in USA to get more information about offered job by the Sponsor.
- If the Candidate does not start work in the United States, he must inform the Sponsor. In this case, the Sponsor will contact the current employer and try to resolve the issue.
- If the Candidate will not be in the United States on time due to a delay in issuing a visa, he must notify the employer.
- The Provider does not bear any responsibility if the Candidate’s employment contract is terminated for any reason after the commencement of work.
- Candidate’s Responsibilities. The Candidate is responsible and liable for:
- All transportation costs to, from and within the USA.
- All his/her living expenses such as food, transportation and housing unless provided by the Host Camp for the program duration stay in the USA.
- All medical expenses and bills except the medical insurance provided by the Sponsor Organization.
- Reading all emails, documents and agreements provided to the Candidate by USE Global, Inc. and the Sponsor.

The SEVIS fee will be submitted to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to create the Candidate’s profile on the SEVIS system upon the process of the Form DS 2019 and no refund will be issued once the SEVIS fee is submitted to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
ARTICLE 4. REFUND POLICY

5% of payment will be deducted for bank actions in any refund case.
All refundable payments are credited only to the card (account) on which the original payment was made. All the refunds will be made in between 15-31 October, {{contract.app.year}}.
ARTICLE 5. OTHER TERMS
The Candidate understands that USE Global, Inc can cancel application if we determine that the Candidate fails to pass the requirements and eligibility based on the rules and regulations by the Sponsor Organization, or U.S. Department of State.
The Candidate understands if the Host Camp determines that the Candidates does not perform his/her duties properly and/or the Candidate does not comply strictly with the regulations, the Host Camp has the right to terminate or fire the Candidate anytime during the program. In this case the Candidate will not be entitled to receive any refund and must return to his/her county immediately.
If the Host Camp goes out of business, files for bankruptcy, shuts down for any reason, or terminates or lays off the Candidate for lack of commercial activity, USE Global, Inc will assist the Candidate in finding a new Host Camp; however, it is up to the Sponsor to accept or deny the change of Host Camp.
The Candidate confirms that he/she is fit to participate in a J-1 program both physically and mentally and understands that an international training experience can be stressful. All pre-existing medical conditions must be made known to the Service Provider in writing at the time of application.
