Service Agreement “High School Exchange (USA) for 1-year”

The Candidate understands that the J-1 Visa High School Exchange Program is a cultural exchange program that enhances the participant’s knowledge of American culture and provides opportunity to study in American system of education.

Candidate and USE Global, Inc. agree as follows:

ARTICLE 1. SERVICES

Provider’s Services. The Service Provider will:

  • Determine the Candidate’s eligibility for the J-1 Visa High School Exchange Program according to the U.S. Department of State’s current regulations.
  • Require the candidate to pay fees and other charges in accordance with this Agreement.
  • Evaluate the Candidate’s English level.
  • Provide the Customer with information on the results of interviews and events.
  • Arrange and prepare the Candidate for interviews with potential Schools.
  • Issue all documents required for the program, also shipping DS-2019 from USA.
  • Prepare the Candidate regarding their interview at the U.S. Embassy / U.S. Consulate. Please note that USE Global, Inc. can advise you on consular interviews. But we are not obliged to provide information on the account of the necessary documents and rules when filing an application for a visa, since in each country these regulations are different. For more information please, contact to U.S. Embassy / U.S. Consulate in your country.
  • Provide the Candidate his/her medical insurance for the duration of the DS-2019 that meets US State Department requirements.
ARTICLE 2. CANDIDATE’S OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate’s Obligations. The Candidate agrees:

  • To provide all necessary/requested documentation in a timely manner.
  • To submit true and correct information all application forms in connection with services provided by the Service Provider.
  • To attend all interviews, including telephonic or Skype interviews, at the prearranged time organized by the Service Provider.
  • To submit payment of the program fees mentioned in Article 3 in a timely manner (the due date will be indicated on an invoice). If full payment will not be received by the deadline indicated in the Invoices, a late payment surcharge will be levied of $500.
  • To submit flight information at least two weeks prior to the date of arrival in the United States. Return flight information must be provided no later then 6 weeks prior to departure date.
  • To arrive no sooner then 7 days before Candidate’s scheduled school date, and depart no later then 7 days after the Candidate’s last scheduled school date.
  • To receive DS-2019 and documents about the acceptance of host school from the Service Provider.
  • To get information about the address, telephone number and other information about the host family from USA before leaving their Homeland.
  • To observe and respect laws and regulations of the USA as well as the Host School’s internal regulations.
  • To return Homeland from the ended of the J-1 Visa High School Exchange Program and inform the Service Provider about that within 3 (three) calendar days after arrival.

Refundable, if Sponsor is unable to place in selected region.

The SEVIS fee will be submitted to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to create the Candidate’s profile on the SEVIS system upon the process of the Form DS-2019 and no refund will be issued once the SEVIS fee is submitted to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

ARTICLE 4. CANCELLATION

No amount will be refunded after Candidate’s arrival in the US. Also, no amount will be refunded in case of placement after August 31, 2023.

5% of payment will be deducted for bank actions in any refund case. All refunded payments will be returned in October 15-30, 2024.

All refundable payments are credited only to the Bank card (Bank account) on which the original payment was made.

If the Candidate shall not register for SEVIS within 30 (thirty) calendar days after the destination of United States America, his/her participation in the Program will be cancelled, in this case the Service Provider will not be responsible for them.

ARTICLE 5. OTHER TERMS

The Candidate understands that USE Global, Inc. can cancel application if we determine that the Candidate fails to pass the requirements and eligibility based on the rules and regulations by the Sponsor Organization, or US Department of State.

Neither Candidate, nor Service Provider will be responsible for partial or full failure of obligations under this Agreement, if failure was consequence of the force majeure circumstances such as earthquakes, flooding or other natural disasters, fires, war or military actions also cases which have binding force on one of the parties such as Decree or Order of Government or other authorities after the signing of the Agreement. If any of these circumstances influences the fulfillment of obligations in due time shown in this Agreement, it shall be shifted in proportion to the duration of the relevant circumstances.

If the Candidate cannot use the program due to a pandemic, he, with his consent, is transferred to the program for the next year. In case of cancellation of the next transfer, the balance of the payment is returned in the amount of 50% of the total amount of the Agreement.

This Agreement shall come into force upon from signing date by both Candidate and Service Provider and shall be valid in effect during 1 (one) year, and in the part of settlements until all obligations hereunder have been completely fulfilled.

Response to proposals on amendments, clarifications, claims, notifications shall be given by one of the parties in a written form within 10 days after receiving them. Otherwise these proposals, claims, notifications should be considered as accepted one by the other party.

The termination of the Agreement does not involve the parties to stop the execution of obligations on payments for the result of the service, as well as termination of liability for improper fulfillment of obligations.

If the Candidate has any physical or mental condition which could affect your ability to participate in the program, he/she have to provide additional information for this in written form with e-mail or letter.
